came back from youth meeting.

tday's meeting was pretty good lar.
made me think and reflect.

alrite i shall share some stuff here.
we were talking abt relationships.
not any kind in particular, just general human relationships.
pastor was like saying, for all kinds of relationships, there are three things that have to be present.
1. (and the greatest of all) love
2. forgiveness
3. humility
first one, love.
love is not a feeling, instead, the definition of love is to seek the highest good of a particular person even tho it may cost you dearly.

and love is a verb, which means you must do and act out your love for others.
the verse given was from 1 Corinthians 13:4-6.
yupps. the love chapter.
and pastor was like asking, why we shld learn to love others from God?
cz God Himself is love.
cz God Himself demonstrated love for his ppl by sendin His Son to earth to die for us, while we were still sinners.
as what Jesus said, the greatest love of all is when one had laid down his life for another.
and Jesus Himself had demonstrated that.
and pastor went further on to say that we too must love our enemies.
if Jesus had chosen to die for that particular person, it shows that that person is impt to God.
if thats the case, it gives us no reason to not love him or her either.

secondly, forgiveness.
Matthew 6:14-15
if we dont forgive others, we too wont be forgiven by God.
and thats the worst thing cz we are supposed to please God.
and put yourself in that person's shoes, if you were to betray someone's trust the very next day, and you really want that other person to forgive you and that person refuses to, how wld you feel?
yea true..
really..
and everyone makes mistakes..
learn to constantly forgive, and keep asking God to help you to forgive.
cz a wound takes time to heal.
some things may come back and haunt you, and thats when you need to ask God to help you forgive.
always rmb to forgive cz if not, it will develop hatred in you.
and learn to tell God as well as some close frens abt how you feel.
cz if these feelins stay in you, it might just fester and it will bring about sicknesses which you wldnt want to have.
and one thing that i had thot abt was that, God may just speak to you thru your frens.
yea..
oh and also Matthew 7:1-2.
do not be judgemental.
cz God will bring some obstacles into your life to show you your weaknesses.
so never judge.
yes.
indeed, man is never perfect.
it is due to our sins that made us unable to forgive.
so i shld always ask God for strength to do so.
lastly, humility.
John 13: 3-5.
always humble yourself to serve others.
pastor said sth like, being humble is not bringing down yourself, instead, it is steppin out from the centre.
we shld not be self centered, instead, we shld be ppl centered.
think abt others' needs more than your own cz God will meet your needs.
so theres no need to worry abt who is gna meet my needs.
and..
we dont need to bring value upon ourselves.
cz there is alr Someone up there who values us like no other.

and he gave us a few pointers as to how to maintain our relationships.
firstly, pray for that person, can be your family, your frens.. anyone who has a certain relationship with you.
if you have a problem, tell God exactly the way you feel.
then present the situation to Him.
and then ask God for strength to help you forgive.

i sudd feel as if i am being refreshed in some way.

with God's help, nothing is impossible.
Jesus Himself had become a man to show us that it is all possible for us to love, forgive and be humble.
so i can do it too. =)
human relationships are indeed complicated ones.
but some how, all my worries and etc for the past few days seem to be gone.
it seems as if God was giving me answers and ways to solve my problems.

so fun.
but i din pack my luggage as i planned to.
