when interest rates increase, what happens to the imports?
then i have to, when i/r increase, money demand decrease, less of your own currency flowing in the market, your currency becomes more valuable, currency appreciates, your goods seem more expensive to others, others' goods seem cheaper, so import increases.
or you can say, i/r increase, consumption and investment increase, AD curve shift upwards, price of your goods become higher, your goods become more expensive, others' goods become cheaper, import increases.
